About Me
My entire life, I have always loved bringing new life to a room through decorating. In fact, even as a child, I would spend hours redecorating my own bedroom. And, after a decade in the business world, I decided to combine my business expertise with my lifelong passion for decorating and design to begin Daydream Interiors, a Cincinnati based interior decorating company.

Daydream Interiors was born from a lifelong personal dream that was fostered by the increasing amount of time I was spending helping family and friends decorate their homes. I found that the most rewarding time I spent, outside of valuable time with my family, was the time I spent making people’s homes the place that they had dreamed of. With that in mind, I pursued every opportunity that I was offered to learn more about the design and decorating industry. I earned credentials as a Certified Interior Decorator, and have attended a wide range of classes in decorating including fabric selection, furniture and color techniques and application. My education, paired with my passion, experience, and ability to truly listen to my client’s desires, allows me to create spaces that are warm, welcoming and most importantly functional.

My Design Inspiration
I find design inspiration all around me. I enjoy bringing nature’s colors, textures and movement into a room including using organic and natural materials. I also look to fashion for inspiration as many of the current home trends closely follow trends in the fashion world. I love to infuse the traditional with a touch of these modern trends, colors and materials. Outside of my continuing formal training and education, I also devote substantial time researching all forms of media to keep up to date on the latest color trends, decorating techniques, products, and furniture lines. Most importantly, I look for creative ways to bring these ideas to my clients in a practical and affordable way.

My Approach
I believe in treating each client, their ideas and their home with the utmost respect. I value the time I am able to spend in my client’s home. Most importantly, I want to learn what works for them in their home and what doesn’t. I also love to find objects in my client’s home that have significance and meaning to them and build those objects into the overall design plan and basis for inspiration. The design process should be enjoyable, rewarding and most importantly a non-intimidating experience. I truly listen to my clients and make their design dreams my own. I pride myself in being able to work within virtually any budget, and recognize that now more than ever every penny counts!
